It's been 2 years....

Kenny and I
My pretty roses

Kenny and I got married on June 10, 2006 so we just celebrated our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe how the time has flown by! I guess we aren't newlyweds anymore....sad.

Kenny sent me the most beautiful flowers at work this week, and took me to Lugano's that night. It's a cute little Italian restaurant in Salt Lake. We've never been there before but I'll for sure go back. You know that I don't go out to different places all that much...I'm usually one that goes to the same place, and gets the same thing. Boring, I know. But that's how I've always been. At Lugano's it took me forever to decide what I wanted. And, actually I just asked the waitress what she liked and I picked that. Ha! We got this shrimp skewer thing before our dinner came...and it was just like a shish kabob. So, I take off a piece of squash at the end and ate it...yeah...it wasn't squash. It was a piece of lemon. SICK. Can you just imagine putting a whole piece of lemon in your mouth thinking that it was squash? The sad thing is...I almost did it again! Anyways, it was a nice evening...and of course great company. Thanks babe!

Sweet Kira

Looking up at Dad
Big Yawn
She's excited
So tired
talking to Mom
Leah took some cute pictures of Kira that she sent to us...it's kind of nice to have photos when Kira isn't always paying attention. She is such a sweet baby and she's getting such a fun personality.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Okay, so we didn't go to Tiffany's but I really loved that song and it just sounded cool. On Saturday we went to breakfast at Johanna's Kitchen to see one of Kenny's friends from high school. Her name is Cristina and she's such a nice girl. We met her husband and son and had a great time. Well, Kenny and Cristina talked about who they talk to still, where people live, and all that fun stuff. And I tried to keep Kira from taking everything off the table and throwing it on the floor. Cristina's family was so cute, and it was fun to hang out with someone new. We're totally going to hang out next month.

Who loves her mom?

Up to no good

Kira has become quite mobile and gets around quite nicely these days. She doesn't crawl yet, but she's got the rolling and turning down pat. So, in our family room we don't have an entertainment center because the tv sits on the ground, and so Kenny's PS2 we just keep to the side of the tv because he hardly plays it anyways. No matter what. No matter when....if Kira hits the ground in the family room she rolls straight to the tv and goes to pull all the cords out with the PS2. She's facinated by it. She thinks it's hilarious, and maybe she really is too young, but I seriously thinks she knows she's up to no good and it's funny to her. She's so cute!

Ugliest Face Tag

Okay, so Brooke totally tagged me in the Ugliest Face Tag. I couldn't believe it and I thought...Oh heck no I'm NOT doing this. But, then, I didn't want to look like a sissy. I mean, what kind of real blogger would I be if I wasn't up to the challenge? I decided that I can throw down like the others. At first I tried to take pictures that were ugly, but still cute. But, in the end, those were actually kind of cute...and wouldn't do this game justice. So here it is...my ugly faces. I'm actually surprised at how entertained I was with taking these. I gasped a few times, laughed a few times, and in the end, I'm proud of myself. I'm totally secure with my own beauty, so just be glad people that I don't make these faces all the time. I started out with different photos than this. My husband, however, recommended that I remove the others because they were "creepy" in nature. Meaning, I took the ugly face too far and looked like a different person or something. Brooke, I was proud of these photos. I totally would have won if there was a contest. Anyways, in the spirit of things, Kenny decided to participate with a photo of his own. :)

I tag Julie(not my sis), Jody, Cammie, and Jasmine. Or, anyone else who isn't chicken enough to do it!

Temple Square

This week Leah was back to visit and it was so fun to be able to see her!! For those of you who don't know Leah, she has been a great friend for years. She was in my wedding, and was my roommate in several different places before she moved to Boston. She was also there since the day I met Kenny, so all three of us have always been good friends. I wish she'd hurry up and move back, but atleast it's fun to see her when she comes back to town. On Sunday we went to Temple square and just walked around and talked and played with Kira in the water.

Kira doesn't look that happy...but I think the sun was bugging her.

This baby is great at posing for the camera.

Kenny dunked her little head in the water...she loved it!

Uh oh...the sun was way too bright!

She loves the grass.
